Quickobook managed to secure a funding of INR 1 Cr from NEDFi Venture Capital Limited. This fund was handed over in an event held in the North Eastern Development Finance Corporation Ltd. convention house today by the Assam chief minister.
Quickobook is an online service allowing consumers to book their medical services online. Operating via their website, this startup allows people to book appointments and services from home. Lab appointments to doctor consultations and medicine delivery to support in surgeries are some of the services.
With the new funding, this startup has decided to expand its services to different cities of the country. Their newest service is Surgery Care, which provides assistance for surgery patients. These include pick and drop , admission and discharge, claim and benefits and financial assistance upto INR 5 lakhs. Patients can avail this fundd within 48 hours of surgery. It also includes moving of patients from Northeast India to larger cities to avail better medical services.
According to the founder, the organisation has a network of over 5000 doctors and managed to help about 6 lakh patients till date.
