Since the inception of data services, it has been a common problem of data getting over at odd hours. This problem increased even more after the introduction of per day data quotas. Also it is not always possible to top up the data quota for everyone. To solve this issue for the subscribers, Reliance Jio has come up with the Emergency Data Loan Facility. This facility allows Jio users to continue using their data experiences for an extended time.
What is this facility from Jio
- Emergency data loan facility is a convenient ‘Recharge Now and Pay Later’ functionality to Jio users who run out of their high speed daily data quota and are unable to recharge immediately.
- Under this facility, Jio will allow its prepaid users to borrow up to five emergency data packs of 1 GB each.
- These packs are worth Rs. 11 each.
Steps to avail the facility
- Open MyJio App and go to ‘menu’ on top left of the app.
- Select ‘Emergency Data Loan’ under mobile services.
- Click ‘Proceed’ on the emergency data banner.
- Select ‘Get emergency data’ option.
- Click ‘Activate now’ to get the emergency loan benefit.
- Emergency data loan benefit is activated.
