The Arunachal Pradesh government on Sunday issued revised set of guidelines to contain the spread of COVID-19 in the state. These revised SOPs will come into effect from the 21st of June and remain in force till the 30th of June.
The order stated that Containment Zones will be notified in areas that reaches COVID-19 test positive rate of 5% or more.
According to the order, night curfew has been imposed from 6 PM to 5 AM daily.
Takeaway of food items restaurants dhabas and other eateries is allowed during the non-curfew hours. Shops and commercial establishments can remain open from 5 AM to 6 PM.
The order also stated that tourist Inner Line Permit shall remain suspended however temporary permits may be issued for developmental works in both private and public sector provided the persons are vaccinated.
Workplace and business/commercial will be allowed to open following all covid appropriate behaviors and SOPs. All public/private transportation including public gatherings shall follow all SOPs and covid appropriate behaviors
All educational institutions shall continue to run online classes. No physical classes are allowed.
Issuing the SOPs, Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu requested the citizens to strictly comply with the new SOP guidelines for the safety.
