Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu on Sunday inaugurated the “Weekly Market” at Woogpa-Latse, Tawang in presence of Advisor to Rural Works Department Minister Jambey Tashi.
The weekly marketplace to be opened every Sunday will provide a venue to the local farmers, artisans, craftsmen and traders to sell their local products and farm produce, said the CM in his address.
He said the marketplace is also an encouragement towards local people to boost their income and attain self-reliance.

More than 50 farmers, craftsmen and artisans had their stalls opened including stalls from APMC and department of textiles & handicrafts.
