Bisk Farm is going to set up a manufacturing unit in Assam. The information was shared by Assam Transport, Industries & Commerce Minister Chandra Mohan Patowary in a tweet on Friday.
As per reports, the manufacturing unit is expected to cost around Rs.100 crore. Reportedly, the unit will be recruiting over 1000 employees. The land has already been allotted by the government for the company. The construction of the unit is expected to start off soon.
Formed in 2000, Bisk Farm is a company known for its biscuits, cookies, cakes, rusks etc. The company has been selling its products throughout the northeastern part of India.
