Four COVID19 patients, serving their mandatory isolation period, in Tamil Nadu ordered Biryani via a food delivery app on Tuesday.
The patients were admitted at Salem Government Mohan Kumaramangalam Medical College and Hospital (SGMKMCH). They were on a vegetarian diet as prescribed by the doctors.
According to a report, they were bored with the vegetarian menu and hence, ordered Tandoori Chicken & biryani.
Following the location, the delivery boy reached the hospital. The security personnels stopped him at the hospital gate. On questioning, the delivery boy informed them that he was there to deliver an order.
The confused security personnels alerted the doctors and hospital Dean. The confusion was cleared and the patients were busted.
On questioning, the four patients admitted to having made the order.
The delivery boy was sent back with the food.
