The fresh and juicy apples from Himachal Pradesh are popular all over India. In an endeavor by Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA), five varieties of apples from Himachal Pradesh are now available in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
The five varieties of apple to be exported from Himachal Pradesh are Royal Delicious, Dark Baron Gala, Red Velox, Golden Delicious and Scarlet Spur.
The procedure for the exports was initiated by the Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority and the Indian Embassy in Bahrain. And the exported fruits will be sold at the stores of Al Jazira Group.
This export of fruits was done under the Bharat Ka Amrit Mahotsav initiative on the occasion of the 75th Independence Day of India. At the apples will be available at thirteen stores of Al Jazira across the Kingdom of Bahrain. In store promotions will also be done in these locations.
Previously mangoes from the states of West Bengal and Bihar and dragon fruits were made available in the country by from Himachal Pradesh are popular all over India. In an endeavor by Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority. This initiative is aimed to export agricultural and horticultural products of India to other countries.
