If you are trying to be a vegetarian but not being able to resist the taste of meat then Genelia D’Souza and Riteish Deshmukh will come to your rescue.
The Bollywood celebrity couple, Genelia D’Souza & Riteish Deshmukh, on Monday made the announcement of their new venture Imagine Meats. This entrepreneurial venture focuses on plant-based meat products. This means that the meat product will be prepared entirely from plant extracts but will give you the taste, smell and flavor of animal meat.
“I have always been focused on the kind of planet we are leaving behind for our children. Seeing first-hand the innovation underway in the global food industry, Riteish and I were encouraged to take this big step and bring to you delicious foods which are so much better for the planet,” said Genelia Deshmukh, co-founder of Imagine Meats in a report.
The company is working in partnership with leading global ingredients manufacturer Archer Daniels Midland (ADM). The partnership will further help them in gaining training in food science, flavors, and product development across borders, the report stated.
The company is planning to launch plant-based kebabs, biryani, and curries and several their products in the upcoming months.
