Longest Noodle- Go a long way!

The record for the longest noodle was achieved by Xiangnian Food Co., Ltd. in Henan, China, on 28 October 2017. It measured 3,084 m (10,119 ft 1.92 in). The noodle was prepared on the occasion of Chinese holiday, Double Ninth Festival, which is also known as the Senior’s Day. That one single noodle was cooked in a garlic, egg and tomato sauce and served to around 400 guests in the event! Click here to watch the record.

Eating Bhut Jolokia – It’s hot!

If you are an Indian movie buff then you are probably recalling Aishwarya Rai eating chilies in Hum Dil Chuke Sanam. But that’s not enough to set a Guinness record. Sorry Ash! The record for the most Bhut Jolokia chilli peppers eaten in two minutes was achieved by Mike Jack from Canada. He ate 246 grams (8.67 oz) bhut jolokia peppers in just two minutes on February 29, 2020. He also holds the record for eating most of these hotties in one minute. Most Pubs Visited – Cheers buddy!

Most of you probably didn’t know about this record. But yes, it exists. Bruce Masters from United Kingdom set the record for visiting most number of pubs. He has visited 46,495 pubs and various drinking establishments since 1960, sampling the local brew where available, as of 29 January 2014. Bruce’s record is equivalent to visiting a single pub every day for 128 years.

Most M&M’s/Smarties eaten with Chopsticks

Eating with chopsticks is a Herculean task for a lot of people. Have you ever watched those Mukbang videos and wondered how do they eat almost everything, even soup, with chopsticks? Okay, lets come to the point. Guinness has a category for eating the most number of M&Ms or Smarties with chopsticks within a set time period. The record for eating most number of these wobbly candies with chopsticks was set by Kathryn Ratcliffe (UK) in Whitley Bay on 10 November 2013. She ate 175 of these within 3 minutes. Most of the times, eating burgers or hamburgers can be a messy affair. The more stuff you have in between the buns, the messier it is. And the soft buns are some tough nuts to crack as it consumes a lot of time in chewing the buns. However, Rix Terabite aka Ricardo Francisco from Philippines has eaten 5 hamburgers in just one minute! He set the record at the World Trade Center in Pasay City, Metro Manila, Philippines, on 27 August 2016. The burgers were provided by Zark’s burgers. Click here to watch this mind-gobbling record.

Largest chocolate bar – Coz Chocolate makes everything better

Even if you have a sweet-tooth you probably won’t be able to finish THIS chocolate bar. The largest chocolate bar in the world measures 383.24 sqm and was achieved by Frits van Noppen, Jeroen Hollestein, Niek Verhoeven and Simon Koster (all Netherlands), in Rotterdam, Netherlands, on 6 February 2020. The record attempt was done in order to celebrate the chocolate atelier Frits van Noppen’s 20th anniversary. It took a few weeks to prepare the bar and the team took 3 days to build it up by area. The bar was made from 1620 elements, with a total weight of 13.079 kilograms. The chocolate bar represented the new hospital ship of the international charity Mercy Ships. The profit of the attempt went to Mercy Ships.
