Kerala to Promote Pink Lilies Online

Kerala tourism department is planning to host an e-festival for pink lilies with a motive to promote for online tours.

The pink lilies over the backwater villages in Kottayam bloom every monsoon. And they attract as of tourists from all over the country.

The initiative has been taken to give enthusiasts an opportunity to explore the beauty of the flowers virtually due to travel restrictions.As per latest reports, the Kerala Tourism, India Tourism and the Malarikkal Tourism Society have shot the flowering locations.

The videos are to be made available on the official websites soon and give a virtual tour of the beautiful locations. And the festival will be carried out in the same way as the online Onam festival held in August 2020.

To the give the viewers a rural experience, the department is also filming videos in the areas of Vaikom, Kumarakom, Murinjapuzha and Amballur.
