The National Chartered Accountant Day or CA Day is celebrated to commemorate the establishment of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. The Parliament of India set up this organisation on the 1st of July 1949.
Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) is the national accounting body of India. It also happens to be the second largest professional accounting body of the world. It is also the only licensing and regulatory body for the financial audit and accounting profession in India.
Services of a Chartered Accountant on CA Day

- Accountancy ie. writing accounts and preparing financial statements is one of the core services.
