Art is an extremely powerful medium to express thoughts, feelings and even information. It can also be used to spread message as well awareness. Amidst the outbreak of Covid-19, many artists in India used art to boost the morale of and pay tribute to the Covid Warriors.

This street mural painted in Guwahati depicts a doctor assassinating the personified corona virus. This give us the image of Goddess Durga assassinating the Mahishasura. This mural basically illustrates the victory of our doctors over the virus.

Renowned sand artist Sudarsan Pattnaik paid tribute to doctors, nurses and healthcare workers with this amazing artwork. It portrays a stethoscope with the message “A salute to the heroes“. This artwork was created by Pattnaik on April 23 at the Puri Beach.

This artwork depicts a doctor wearing a PPE kit and carrying a bunch of people on his head while he himself is sulking amid the virus.
