The Reliance Foundation has vaccinated over 10 lakh doses across India under their Mission Vaccine Suraksha. It was started in April by Reliance Group as a mark of commitment to protect the employees, associates, partners and
the general population with free vaccinations.
Mass vaccination is the main priority for for the country and the way to fight the current Covid-19 crisis. A vast number of NGOs and other organisations are taking initiatives to vaccinate the masses. Following government announcements and protocol, the group started one of the largest free-of-cost corporate vaccination programs to vaccinate all employees and their family members.
Over 98% of all eligible employees of the group have already been covered with at least one dose of Covid-19 vaccine. Over 171 vaccination centers across the country are working to vaccinate the employees, associates, venture partners and their family members including off-roll workforce, retired employees and up-to eight family members of each of these groups.
Vaccination for the community has been started to give an additional 10,00,000 doses to communities near all plant locations and to the general population through registered NGOs. The Reliance Group also supplied huge amounts of medical oxygen to large number of hospitals across the country during the oxygen crisis.
