Egg Vendor’s Cart Vandalized by Official, Good Samaritans help Restock

A heart-warming video was doing rounds on social media where it had been suggested that a civic staff toppled the egg cart of a 12 year old vendor in Indore. In the video one can see the young vendor yelling in anguish and almost all of the eggs smashed on the ground.

According to Firstpost, the incident took place on Wednesday at Piplyahana square in the city. The report suggested that the employees and officials of the Indore Municipal Corporation (IMC) were seizing roadside hawkers as a part of their ongoing drive.

The video triggered outrage among the Netizens who condemned the act of the official. As a result of the criticism by the people and few political leaders, the IMC called off their drive.

Seeing the video, some people stepped forward to help the young vendor. As per a report by Storypick, the Indore Press Club provided ration and money to the boy. Few other individuals and organizations helped in restocking his cart.

The pandemic has hit hard the people across the globe, especially the lower section of the society. More than the virus, the virus induced restrictions are snatching away the bread and butter of many.
