An Air India flight going to Moscow on Saturday was called back mid-way after the COVID19 results of one of the pilots onboard came out positive. The aircraft is being disinfected at the Delhi airport.
The test results came out after the flight took off. The pilot got the information midway through the flight and flew back from over Uzbekistan as reported by TOI.
The flight was a part of India’s Vande Bharat mission aiming to repatriate stranded Indians in Moscow. There were no passengers except for the crew members.
As per reports, Air India shall be sending another flight soon to fly back the stranded Indians in Moscow.
