Local Utpaat, an Assamese action comedy is all set to release tomorrow across multiple theaters across the state.
Created by partial crowd funding, this film has been one of the dream projects of the team that has given several popular action comedy films including Local Kung Fu 1 and Local Kung Fu 2. Suspended Inspector Boro has been one of the action suspense films of the same franchise. The Heavy Budget channel on YouTube is another of the popular and socially accepted faces of this team.
Speaking to Discover East, Director Kenny Deori Basumatary mentioned that this film is suitable for all groups of audiences. There is ample amount of comedy to make everyone laugh. Dialog, situations and language used is sure to make people laugh while watching Local Utpaat. It has a good combination of action, realism and misfortune that will make everyone laugh said the director.
The team has tried really hard to promote the film across the state. Over the past weeks they have planned and organised several roadshows across the state. Several interaction sessions have been hosted with the students and staff of multiple colleges across the state to attract more and more viewers towards the shows. They have also participated and collaborated with popular social media influencers and youtubers to tell more and more people about this project. A premier show was also hosted today by the team.
Local Utpaat has been shot mostly in the city with few picturesque locations nearby. The title track was released few days back and it was well accepted by the public.
