The All Assam Restaurant Association has organized a Cricket League for its member restaurants in the city of Guwahati from today.
The All Assam Restaurant Association is an organisation of the eateries of the state. It has large number of small and large eateries as its members now. And it aims to represent the food service industry of the state to all the concerned authorities and public.
This cricket league organised by the All Assam Restaurant Association is aimed to serve as an introduction and meet between the owners and eateries of the members and participating restaurants. A total of fourteen member teams are participating in this competition. The matches will be played over the four days from the 21st to the 23rd of February. The venue of the tournament is the famous Latasil Ground of the city.
The participating restaurants and restaurant chains of this cricket league include Fat Belly, J 14, Grill Republica, Four Seasons, Hot Pot, Chai Piyo, Keri Beri and many others. The format is a limited over cricket game and multiple matches are scheduled for each day. The initial games of this league will be of 8 overs while the quarter finals and beyond will be of fifteen overs. Only owners and employees are allowed to participate in the competition.
