This year’s Ziro Festival of Music 2023 is just around the corner. The event will start on September 28 and end on October 1 this year. Being the 10th-anniversary edition of the festival, enthusiasts can expect a grand event. And now the organizers have released the artist lineup for this year’s festival.
Unlike the previous editions when the event had only two performance states, a new stage has been added this year. The organisers have named it the Takvr (meaning star) stage. And it is dedicated to electronic music. The Dayni and Pwlo stages will be there like the previous years. The following is the list of artists performing on each of the stages.

Angata (Israel), Deep Brown (Goa), DJ Ina (Nagaland), Kiss Nuka (Goa), Leon Somov (Lithuania), Motif (Goa), Sebastian Fuchs (Germany), Smokey (Mumbai) and Unnayanaa (Pondicherry).
Artist lineup for Pwlo Stage
Alif (Kashmir), Antikvariniai Kašpirovskio Dantys (Lithuania), Cassettes (Mizoram), Chaar Diwaari (Delhi) and Chorun Mugli (Arunachal Pradesh). Danny Kuttner (Israel), Dashugs (Ladakh), Eliasse (France), Farhan Echoes (Mumbai) and Flying Kik (Bhutan). Jatayu (Chennai) Komorebi (Delhi), Lee Ranaldo (USA), Mannequin Death Squad (Australia) and Many Roots Ensemble (Mumbai). Maylula (Arunachal Pradesh), Mc Altaf (Mumbai), Soulgroove (Meghalaya), Taba Chake (Arunachal Pradesh) and The Boo Boo Bama Orchestra (Sweden).

Ary Juliyant (Indonesia), Benry Moses (Nagaland), Da Thymmei (Meghalaya) and East Himalayan Folk Quintet (Assam). G Jackals (Arunachal Pradesh), Goutam Das Baul (West Bengal), Mohit Chauhan (Mumbai), Pillow Chandrasekar (Tamil Nadu) and Techi Taning (Arunachal Pradesh). Guy Buttery (South Africa), Himali Mou (Uttarakhand), Joydeep Records (Tripura), Pt Vishwa Mohan Bhatt (Rajasthan), Puuluup (Estonia) and Run Monday Run (Nagaland). Shashikala Dani (Karnataka), Shourya Malhotra (Delhi), Sikkil Mala Chandrasekar (Tamil Nadu) and Techi Taning (Arunachal Pradesh).
They have also allocated another area to conduct activities for community engagement. The organizers have also mentioned that they are expecting larger audience this year, compared to the past.
