Shillong: The holiday season approaches and the countdown to Christmas has begun. Keeping with the festive environment, the Hotel Polo Towers Group hosted its joyous Cake Mixing Ceremony on 28th November. The celebration enveloped the air with the enchanting fragrance of delightful holiday cheer in the hotel in Shillong.
Several ingredients went into the ingredients which included around 50 kgs of dry fruits alone. Cashew nuts, almond, cherry, pistachios, berries, marmalade, black raisins, raisins, walnuts, prunes and dry orange peel were included. 30 liters of spirits and wine including red wine, port wine, rum, brandy and beers were also added. Around 10 kgs of spices including cinnamon sticks, cardamom and cloves were used during the fruit mixing ceremony. To add to the sweetness, 10 liters of local orange honey and orange juice were used at Polo Towers Shillong. And 100 Sohra pineapples were also used in Polo Orchid Resort Cherrapunjee , making it to around 100 kgs of joy being mixed together.

The Managing Director also mentioned that the demand for their products and services have increased. And that they are looking at providing even better services in the days to come.
The Hotel invited several people for the event hosted in the Hotel Polo Towers Shillong. And the cake mixing ceremony was followed by a high tea for the participants of the event.
