Cosmic Grooves organised a cooking competition on the 12th of March to celebrate the International Womens’ Day.
Almost all organisations worldwide put a special emphasis on the empowerment of the female section of the society. Celebration of the International Womens’ Day on the 8th of March is a key part of this idea. Different groups celebrate this event in their own different ways. Several competitions are organised to commemorate this day.
Cosmic Grooves is a fitness health center located in Hatigaon of Guwahati. It provides training in yoga, zumba and aerobics among others. And this organisation hosted a cooking competition to mark the International Women’s Day. Participants had to cook at their home and then present their dished to the judges of the event.
The competition saw many participants from different parts of the city. It also saw a competitor from Tamil Nadu. Each of the participating ladies tried to present their best cuisines in this competition. Some of them prepared and presented more than one dishes as well. The ladies presented dishes ranging from starters to deserts in this event. Also the competition saw dishes from idlis to biryani and roasted chicken to paratha.
The judges of this event induced Nazneen Aziz , Taanishi Inam and Sisir Kumar from Guwahati Foodie. And they selected three winners out of all the competitors.
