Orange Festival Dambuk to be held this year

The Orange Festival of Adventure and Music held in Dambuk is scheduled to be held this year after a break of two years. The 2020 and 2021 versions of the festival were cancelled because of Covid -19 global pandemic. And this year it will be held from the 15th to the 18th of December.

Dambuk is located in the Lower Dibang Valley District of Arunachal Pradesh. This region is famous for the good quality oranges cultivated here. And this the main reason behind the name of the event. It is also a very picturesque and the winters are the best time to visit the region.

The Orange Festival is an excellent time to visit Dambuk. There skies are generally clear and chance of rains are low. Its the harvest season, so fresh fruits are available in bulk. Apart from attending the main events of the festival, the tourists can also explore the region. They can try the traditional cuisines of the local tribes as well as experience their culture.

Early bird tickets are now available on their website at a price of Rs. 2500 for the four days. Apart from bands performing in the main event, there are several other options for the tourists. These include hot air ballooning at Rs 800, para-motoring at Rs 2000, parasailing at Rs. 1000, zip lining at Rs 500 and white water water rafting at Rs 1500. Camping is the best option for accommodation during the festival. Although there are multiple camping organizers during the event, it is best to pre-book before reaching.

The Ziro Festival of Music is also on the cards this year.
