The Photography Club, Dimapur has organized the first Nagaland Photography Festival in the Mandeville Gardens, Purana Bazaar of Dimapur. And executive members of the Photography Club of Assam visited the same along with other.
The two day event was kick-started on the occasion of the World Photography Day. Photography Club, Dimapur invited participants for the contest in the beginning of the month. And it was hosted yesterday and today. Participants of the Nagaland Photography Festival were able to put their shots on exhibition and sale while being in line rules of the competition. Each participant could send upto five entries, and the organizers took the call on the selection process.
Chairman of the Photography Club of Assam, Bidyasagar Boruah was also present for the event. He expressed his happiness and wished for the success for the event. He also expressed his gratitude to Letminthanng Kipleng, the president of Photography Club, Dimapur and hopped for future collaborations between the two clubs.
Pohor, the annual photography exhibition and competition of the PCA is also underway. The submission dates are over and the judges are busy with the shortlisting process as of now. The selections will soon be available on the official Pohor website.
