Tawang is ready to host the Shangri La Calling event for travelers enthusiasts from across the country from the 5th and 6th of November. The previous version of this event was hosted last year in the month of December.
Located in the district of Tawang, Chumi Gyatse has some of the most beautiful views nature can offer. Late autumn and onset of winters means that the upper reaches of the mountains will receive some amount of snow. The fresh air and plenty of space is something that people can expect in this place. The Holy 108 Waterfall is the most prominent attraction.
Shangri La Calling will have a host of other events in store for participants. Camping with bonfire and music are part of the whole experience in this event. Some of the interesting ones include trekking and archery. Visit to hot water springs and traditional Buddhist prayers and offerings will also be part of the event.
The Tourism Department of Arunachal Pradesh is also supporting this event. People coming from the other states to India need to get their Inner Line Permit to enter Arunachal Pradesh. Also since the options for accommodation are limited, it is suggested to book the same before leaving.
