The 2022- 23 season of the Indian Super League (ISL) was kicked of yesterday in Kochi. The opening match of the tournament was played between Kerala Blasters and East Bengal. And the home team Kerala Blasters beat the visitors East Bengal with 3 : 1 score. Kerala Blasters was the runners up in the previous season after losing to Hyderabad Football Club in the final match. Adrian Luna scored one while Ivan Kalyuzhnyi scored two goals for Kerala Blasters while Alex scored one for East Bengal.
The second match of the tournament was the first show for both Bengaluru Football Club and North East United Football Club. And the home team defeated the visitors like the first game of the tournament. Bengaluru FC managed one goal while Northeast United FC failed to do the same. Alan Costa was the man who shored for Bengaluru FC almost at the end of the game.
North East United Football Club will have its first home match on the 13th of October in Guwahati. This match will be against Hyderabad FC, the winner of the last season of ISL. Matches start at 7:30 PM. Here is the full list of matches to be played by North East United.
