Abhigyanm one of the pioneer organisations in the cultural sector of the state. And they have announced a 10 day residential theatre workshop in the Shankardev Nagar region in Maligaon of Guwahati.
Abhigyanm is the organizer of the Adingiri National Theatre Festival. This annual event sees the participation of multiple local and national theater teams. These groups present their work infront of an enthralled audience in the midst of lush green surroundings overlooking the Guwahati city. This year’s event is scheduled to take place in the month of January.
The organizers have announced that this ten day event will take care of several aspects of theatre beyond just stage acting. Professionals will take masterclasses on play writing, vocal exercises, acrobatic acts, meditation, camera facing and yoga among others. Instructors of this training include several known names of the industry. Some of them include theater director Ranhang Choudhury and actors Kamal Lochan, Atanu Mahanta, Sanju Ray, Apu Apurba Barman, Kuldeep Talukdar and Kaushik Nath .
According to the organizers, it will be a great learning experience for all participants. The 10 day residential theatre workshop will be open for 16 to 30 year old enthusiasts.
