Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb on Friday launched Eco-friendly bamboo diyas in the state about a week ahead of Diwali. The eco-friendly diyas have been made by artisans from South Taibandal, Sipahijala.
As stated by the Chief Ministers, the artisans were were inspired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Mann Ki Baat and the ideology of Vocal for Local.
Tripura has been producing some tremendous bamboo products during recent times including bamboo rice, bamboo cookies, bamboo water bottles. These eco-friendly products have been appreciated across the country.
