Two persons in Golaghat who returned from the UK few days ago tested positive for Covid-19 recently.
As per report the family returned from the Uk on December 12 and had been kept under isolation since then. Two persons from the family tested positive for an RT-PCR Covid-19 test on December 27.
Reports suggest they have been sent to JMCH. Also their samples. have been sent to the National Institute of Virology (NIV), Pune to check whether the patients had contracted the new strain of coronavirus.
