FlyBig , the youngest player in the field of Indian Aviation, has started flights to Tezu. Tezu is the headquarters of the Lohit District of Arunachal Pradesh.
The announcement came on the twitter of Pema Khandu, the Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh.
This comes as the seventh airport under the Regional Connectivity Scheme (RCS) of Ude Desh ka Aam Nagrik (UDAN) in the Northeastern Region of the country.
FlyBig is a small carrier currently operational mainly in small airports of the country. In the Northeastern part of India, it operates to and from Pasighat and Tezu in Arunachal Pradesh; Kokrajhar and Guwahati in Assam. It also operates from Shillong in Meghalaya and Agartala in Tripura. The airline currently operates out of Indore in Maharastra.
