The Indian Immunologicals Limited makes history by being the first organisation to transport animal vaccines using drones.
The successful delivery of the vaccines was achieved by a combined effort of three parties. While Indian Immunologicals Limited made the vaccines a drone service provider was responsible for making the delivery. The Department of Animal Husbandry and Dairying , Government of India coordinated with the Department of Agriculture and Animal Husbandry of Arunachal Pradesh to make this project a reality. The maiden flight carried the vaccines from Roing to Paghlam in the Northeastern state.
The successful delivery takes animal husbandry in the state to a whole new level. Now necessary vaccines and other medications of the animals can be delivered to remote locations.

Few days back another landmark project was successfully completed in the state of Arunachal Pradesh. Essential human medications were delivered to a remote village in the state using drones. This project was completed by a Indian company with locally made drones.
