Government of Assam on Monday issued guidelines for the fourth phase of lockdown for containment of COVID19 to be followed till 31st March. It also includes new regulations for food delivery and takeaway.
As per the guidelines all tea shops, restuarants, ice-cream parlours, cooked food outlets are allowed to operate on takeaway or home delivery basis till 7pm.
Earlier the timing for delivery and takeways was fixed till 6pm. However, in lockdown 4 government has set the curfew timing from 7pm to 7am.
The movement of individuals shall remain strictly prohibited between 7pm till 7am except for essential activities. District Magistrates shall issue orders in the entire area of their jurisdiction under appropriate provisions of law, such as prohibitory orders under section 144 of CrPC and ensure strict compliance.
Assam has a total of 58 active cases of COVID19 including 3 deaths.
