Bharatiya Janta Yuva Morcha (BJYM) of Assam celebrates the birthday of the prime minister of India, Narendra Modi, with a two day exhibition and sale event of locally produced products. The event was innaugarated today in the park on the banks of the historically important Dighali Pukhuri of Guwahati and will continue till tomorrow.
This exhibition and sale event has a variety of products on display. These include handcrafts and hand-loom products, food products and even Assam Tea from multiple producers.
Mr. Ankur, the state president of BJYM, said that the main idea behind this event was celebrate the birthday of the most popular Prime Minister of the biggest democracy by encouraging his idea of Vocal For Local. Wherein the local products and producers are encouraged to achieve production of all the items necessary in the country.
Speaking to Discover East, one of the participants of this exhibition and sale event thanked the state unit of BJYM for organizing this event. This event will give them the necessary boost in terms of advertisement and presence.
Encouraging local producers to work harder as well as providing a marketplace for such products strengthen the economy of the state and the country as a whole.
