Alcheringa, the socio – cultural festival of the Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati is all set to be hosted from the 11th to the 13th of March 2022.
This four day affair is one of the best college festivals of the city of Guwahati. It sees visitors and participants from all major colleges of the region as well as from outside Northeast India. Alcheringa hosts a large number of solo as well as team events which start well before the festival days.
Some of the events in Alcheringa include multiple singing and dance competitions. Recitations, writing and drawings of different categories are also involved. Gaming, robotics, photography, videography modelling are some of the other events. Business plans competition, Model United Nations and Alcher Got Talent are some of the more serious events of this festival. While rangoli making, reusing waste products and making reels are some of the more fun ones. Digital drawing, face art, facial expressions and doodling are also part of this mega celebration.
