Assam Govt on Saturday issued new guidelines for the second week of lockdown in Kamrup (M) district. These guidelines are to be followed between 5th July to 12th July with strict observance of all Covid norms.
Activities allowed during this period of lockdown are as follows
- Grocery shops will be allowed to operate between 11 AM and 4 PM on Monday and Wednesday (6th and 8th July).
- Whole sellers of grocery items will be allowed to restock their supplies on 5th July (Sunday) and 7th July (Tuesday) between 3pm and 6pm. No retail sale is allowed during this period.
- Activities relating to essential items supply from and to FCI establishments shall be allowed to operate.
- House to house sale of fruits and vegetables shall be allowed between 10 AM and 3 PM only on Monday and Wednesday.
- Activities relating to wholesale distribution of medicines and medical equipment shall be allowed between 10 AM and 3 PM only on Monday and Wednesday (6th and 8th July)
- Veterinary clinics, veterinary medicine shops are allowed to operate on all days between 10 AM and 4 PM. Feed shops will be allowed to operate on Monday (6th July) and Wednesday (8th July)
- E-Commerce distribution activities are allowed between 11 AM and 4 PM on Friday (10th July) only.
- Post office and life insurance corporation office are allowed to operate with only 10% of total employee strength and only 10% of total branches.
- No roadside vending of any fruit vegetables, fish etc will be allowed.
