West Guwahati Member of Legislative Assembly, Ramendra Narayan Kalita felicitates the students of the region who performed well in the 10th and 12th standards this year in the newly inaugurated community hall.
A total of fifty two students were facilitated during this event. They were presented with a certificate, a memento and a goodie bag each. These students were from Daimugiri, Adingiri, Madhabdeb Nagar, Mikirghuli and Krishnapuri villages.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr Ramendra Narayan Kalita encouraged the achievers to work harder and perform even better in the future. He also expressed his hope that the younger generations will their studies even more seriously. And this will help not only to achieve their dreams, but also lead to the development of the entire region.
This recognition of the students was coordinated by a Non Government Organisation by the name of World Vision India. This NGO had previously worked on another campaign to spread awareness about Covid-19 Vaccination in the West Guwahati constituency.
Mr Ramendra Narayan Kalita laid the foundation stone of a new pitch road in Adingiri before the felicitation of students. He also inaugurated The FERNS Library, an educational initiative by The FERNS Society today.
