Shyam Steel India is a producer of steel and manufacturer of TMT Bars needed for construction of concrete structures and it donated much needed oxygen concentrators to the Government of Assam. The representatives of the company handed over twenty five oxygen concentrators to the medical department in the presence of Himanta Biswa Sharma, the Chief Minister of Assam.
“We salute the collective effort and the fighting spirit of every citizen of our country in their fight against the pandemic. Oxygen concentrators have been found to be very effective in the treatment of covid cases. We will provide more support to the Assam Government in the forthcoming days. We are optimistic that with the right resources and empathy for our fellow countrymen, we will not only survive this crisis but also come out stronger”, said Mr Lalit Beriwala, Director, Shyam Steel India.
The second wave of COVID has caused much more severity in the symptoms and the need of supplementary oxygen has also increased. Oxygen concentrators often come in handy both at hospitals and private residences to save lives. And with the aim of saving a maximum number of lives possible, Shyam Steel India has provided all the support to the public to combat this deadly virus.
