Government order Nos. H-1601/6/2020-HD dated 17th May, 28th May and 2nd June, 2021 has given approval for opening of pharmacies, workshops, some more category of shops even during restricted schedules & time period and the same are to be operational as on date in the whole Imphal West District of Manipur. The schedules and times will remain unaffected as per the orders of the Government from time to time.
It is also learnt that the request made by the local authority in different locations for mandatory testing of shopkeepers or proprietors including pharmacies are not very forthcoming in of some areas of the district. The people manning these shops to be opened on scheduled date and time have to be safe and protected from COVID-19 as well as precautions from spreading it is necessary to be ensured.
Hence all such pharmacies, workshops and approved category of shops will have to get the shopkeepers and the persons manning the shops compulsorily tested and the negative test report for COVID-19 to be produced on or before Tuesday, the 8th June, 2021. The test results are required to be produced whenever inquired for by the Police or District Administration of Imphal West. Failing to produce it, will result in the permission for opening of any such shop or establishment shall be withdrawn.
