The Fifth Edition of the Northeast TSD Run was successfully completed today evening in a resort near the Pobitora Wildlife Sanctuary on the edge of the city of Guwahati.
The open category was won by the team SK Ajgar Ali and MK Mohammed Musthafa while the team of Adarsh Tiwari and Chirag Thakur came as the Runners up. While Samrath Krishna Choudhury and Santanu Choudhury won in the Northeast Category.
The Northeast TSD Run is one of the largest motor-sport event of the Northeastern part of India and the only one in Time – Distance – Speed (TSD) format. One of the main factors of this competition was that the top teams of this event directly qualified for the Indian National Regularity Run Championship.
This year’s event was attended by a total of fourteen competing teams. And out of these fourteen teams, five teams were participating from outside of the Northeast Region. There was another team in the Women category, where all the team members were ladies.
Northeast TSD Run 2022 was a two day event just like its previous edition. The first day included a vehicle scrutiny followed by a tough night round after the flag off from Guwahati stadium. The second day saw a comparatively easier run in the vicinity of the wildlife sanctuary and ended in one of the resorts of the region.
