Minister of Civil Aviation Hardeep Singh Puri recently announced that air travel will resume in a regular manner by the end of December 2020 or January 2021. The announcement was made at a B-School event. In a regular manner from the beginning of January.
The minister also added that the safety protocols will have to be fortified once the flight operations begin to run in the manner like in the Pre-Covid era.
Reportedly, the civil aviation is operating at 70 per cent capacity in a calibrated manner.
Recently, Ministry of Civil Aviation also announced that an air travel arrangement has been established between India and Ethiopia. Designated carriers of both countries are permitted to operate flights between the two countries.
