The Bodoland Territorial Region administration has announced a photography contest to showcase the region and encourage more tourism in the region. Contestants must send all entries via mail to the email id contact@btds.in.
Located within the state of Assam, the Bodoland Territorial Region has some of the best tourist destinations. This Photography Contest by the BTR administration has been organised to celebrate the World Tourism Day. The idea is to showcase the culture and tourism resources of the region. And thus highlighting new and better options for both domestic and foreign tourists. The themes of this contest are culture, nature and wildlife.
This is a digital only contest and the image should be no larger than three MB in size. It should not have any border, watermark or copyright symbols of any kind. All photographs entering the competition must be captured within BTR. Participants must keep the EXIF details of the image and not edit the name. All images must be accompanied by a caption, description and location where it was captured. 20th September is the last day for accepting entries for this contest.
The winners and runners up of the contest will receive vouchers for hotels and resorts in the region. These vouchers will have a validity of forty five days and not redeemable for cash. The acceptance of the vouchers. will be subject to availability of rooms in the resorts and hotels. The Bodoland Tourism Development Society may use these images for tourism promotion activities.
