Drukair, the Royal Bhutan Airlines has announced weekly special flights to India in Delhi, Kolkata, Bagdogra and Guwahati under the special Air Travel Bubble Agreement between the Governments of Bhutan and India.
The flights shall operate as per the following terms and conditions.
- Ticket issuance of these flights will start from the 7th day until the 4th day before the departure date. Normal refund rules shall apply thereafter.
- Drukair reserves the right to cancel or reschedule flights if the passenger numbers are less than 40 (in total both ways). Confirmation of operation a flight shall be announced 4 days before the flight departure.
- Drukair reserves the right to change the aircraft type depending on each flight.
- Sue to strict entry procedures, international online bookings shall be closed until further notice. However, local residents can avail ticketing facilities through local offices by MBoB facilities.

The Air Bubbles concept of air travel was created to prevent further spread of the Covid -19 virus. Bilateral air bubbles between two countries allow only limited passengers on agreed upon routes and times. Read more about this new regulation of international air travel here.
