In order to help out the citizens of the capital city of Aizawl in Mizoram, a two wheeler taxi application named Huiva was launched today. The Tourism Minister of Mizoram, Robert Romawia Royte opened this application for public.
The Aizawl Two-wheeler Taxi Association (ATTA) has launched this service in the city in order to give more efficient service to the public at standardized rates. This application will enable the booking of trips less than a kilometre in distance.
Two wheeler taxi carrying single commuters are common in the city of Aizawl. Due to narrow roads and lack of ample parking spaces, people generally avoid for wheeler taxis. Also these vehicles can easily make their way through traffic jams easily. The rides are generally for short distances, even less than a kilometre. Users can now book their two wheeler taxis at their location and timings with ease using the Huiva application.
The application was developed by local developers in order to suit the needs of the people of the region. The interface is easy to use like the taxi giant Uber. Huiva is expected to help the public, but also the taxi riders by giving a balanced number of rides to everyone.
