The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare issued fresh guidelines for International arrivals.
As per the new guidelines, all travellers should submit self-declaration form on the online portal (www.newdelhiairport.in) at least 72 hours before the scheduled travel or physically after arrival at respective counters.
passengers need not require to undergo institutional or home quarantine if they can produce a negative RT-PCR report conducted within 72 hours.
The travellers are required to give an undertaking on the portal or otherwise to ministry of civil aviation through concerned airlines that they would abide by the decision of the government authority to undego facility/home quarantine/self-monitoring of their health for 14 days or as warranted.
Those travellers who do not have a negative RT-PCR report can seek exemption from institutional quarantine by availing the facility at the airport and undergoing the test.
Those travellers who want to exempt themselves from quarantine will have to submit a self-declaration form online 72 hours prior to their flight.
In case of International passengers, a Covid-19 negative certificate will have to be produced. If the passenger does not opt for RT-PCR test at the airport or arrive at an airport which doesn’t have the facility, then the passenger will have to undergo a mandatory 7days institutional quarantine plus 7 days of home quarantine.
International passengers arriving through seaports/landports will also have to undergonthe same protocol as above.
Respective states can impose additional restrictions on passengers arriving from across the country borders.
