India Celebrates its National Tourism Day on the 25th of January every year. Although the exact details are not known, some reports suggest that it was first celebrated in 1948.
National Tourism Day aims to shine the limelight on the culture and history of the country and present them as tourism products and destinations. It aims to promote the tourism sector as a whole and boast economic standards. It also aims to protect the nation’s heritage and the structures related to the same.
