The huge amount of rain in the past few days have caused flooding and water logging in several parts of Assam. In view of the the situation between Nalbari and Ghograpar of Rangia Division of NF Railways, the following are some of the changes being made to the time table. Some of the trains have been cancelled, while few others have been shot terminated and a few more have been diverted.
Partial Cancellation of following trains
- Train # 15753 Alipurduar -Guwahati Sifhung Express of 16 June. – It has been short terminated at Nalbari and will remain partially cancelled till further notice between Nalbari and Guwahati. And Train # 15754 Guwahati – Alipurduar Sifhung Express of 16th June. – It has been short originated at Nalbari and will remain partially cancelled in between Guwahati and Nalbari.
- Train # 15770 Lumding – Alipurduar Intercity Express commencing journey on 16 June. – It will be short terminated at Guwahati and will remain partially cancelled in between Guwahati and Alipurduar. And Train #15769 Alipurduar – Lumding – Intercity Express commencing journey on 17th June. – Will be short originated at Guwahati and will remain partially cancelled in between Alipurduar and Guwahati.
Cancellation of the following trains
- Train # 05809 New Bongaigaon – Guwahati passenger of 16 June – will be cancelled and so is Train # 05810 Guwahati – New Bongaigaon passenger commencing journey on 17th June.
- Train # 05802 Guwahati – New Bongaigaon passenger, commencing journey on 16 & 17th June will be cancelled and same for Train # 05801 New Bongaigaon – Guwahati passenger train, commencing journey on 17th June.
- Train # 15753 Alipurduar – Guwahati Sifhung Express commencing journey on 17th June has been cancelled and so is Train No. 15754 Guwahati – Alipurduar Sifhung Express commencing journey on 17th June, 2022
Diversion of the following trains
- Train # 12424 New Delhi – Dibrugarh Rajdhani Express commencing journey on 15th June will be diverted via New Bongaigaon – Goalpara Town – Kamakhya instead of New Bongaigaon – Rangiya -Kamakhya.
- Train # 20504 New Delhi – Dibrugarh Rajdhani Express commencing journey on 15th June will be diverted via New Bongaigaon – Goalpara Town – Kamakhya instead of New Bongaigaon – Rangiya – Kamakhya.
- Train # 15658 Kamakhya – Delhi Brahmaputra Mail commencing journey on 16th June will run via Kamakhya – Goalpara Town – New Bongaigaon instead of Kamakhya – Rangiya New Bongaigaon.
- Train # 12520 Kamakhya – Lokmanya Tilak AC Express commencing journey on 16th June will run via Kamakhya Goalpara Town New Bongaigaon instead of Kamakhya Rangiya – New Bongaigaon.
- Train # 15910 Lalgarh-Dibrugarh Avadh Assam Express commencing journey on 14 June will run via New Bongaigaon Goalpara Town – Kamakhya instead of New Bongaigaon – Rangiya – Kamakhya.
- Train # 15633 Bikaner – Guwahati Express commencing journey on 15 June will run via New Bongaigaon – Goalpara Town – Kamakhya instead of New Bongaigaon – Rangiya – Kamakhya.
- Train # 13173 Sealdah – Agartala Kanchenjungha Express commencing journey on 16 June will run via New Bongaigaon – Goalpara Town – Kamakhya instead of New Bongaigaon – Rangiya – Kamakhya.
The rains and landslides have already caused the cancellation of trains in the Haflong Division.
