Tourism Ministry Partners with OutsiteVR to provide Virtual Reality Tours

Ministry of Tourism on Tuesday announced that it has partnered with OutsiteVR.com to empower tourists to travel India virtually. OutsiteVR allows the users to explore fully immersive virtual reality experiences.

Making the announcement the Ministry tweeted, “Get ready to explore fully immersive virtual reality experiences starting from the magnificent Key Monastery, Himachal Pradesh in the North to the amazing Kannur Light House, Kerala in the South. Further, stroll the streets of west, taking a dig at handicraft and traditional culture and finally venture all the adventures of our beautiful Northeast.”

The Ministry further directed the viewers to visit the OutsiteVR website to experience India instantly in 360 degree VR view.

OutsiteVR is a tech venture by IIT Roorkee & MIT Alumni, is a VR experiential platform to visit Heritage & Touristic Sites.

The Covid – 19 pandemic has caused problems in all walks of life, but the tourism sector is one of the worst hit.
